Steve Furger is the Vice President of Engineering at Hermeus where he leads a cross-discipline team of engineers working to make the world’s first air-breathing hypersonic aircraft.

Prior to Hermeus, Steve spent nine years at SpaceX leading a team of 30 engineers working on the dynamics of more than five vehicle programs from Falcon 9 and Dragon to Starlink and Starship.

Steve has a Master of Science in Aerospace Engineering from California Polytechnic State University.
