Six more engines

As our team grows, so does our inventory of flight hardware.

These are GE J85-21 turbojet engines. They’re known for their robustness and reliability. J85s have been used in multiple aircraft over the years including jets like the Northrop F-5.

Each of our engines pictured here are flight-proven – they’ve already enjoyed a distinguished flying career. We’ll be giving them a second life as we repurpose them within our Turbine-Based Combined Cycle (TBCC) engine configuration.

These turbojet engines make up the heart of our TBCC. We’ll be wrapping our proprietary technology around them to create a hypersonic engine.

We now have all the turbojet engines we need to be complete our first aircraft development program with an iterative, hardware rich approach.
