Hermeus demonstrates transition from turbojet to ramjet with its full scale Chimera engine. This is a major de-risk for hypersonic technology.

f100 engines acquired
Pratt & Whitney’s F100 turbofan, used in the F-15 and F-16 aircraft, will act as the turbine core of Hermeus’ turbine-based combined cycle engine, Chimera II.

SUBSCALE wind tunnel testing
The findings attained during these tests are key to understanding the aerodynamics of Quarterhorse.

Mk 0 BUILD BEGINS
Mk 0 is the first of four vehicle in the Quarterhorse program, which will culminate in a vehicle capable of surpassing the all-time airspeed record held by the SR-71.
