Last week we were thrilled to host Congresswoman McBath for a tour of our Atlanta facilities.

The Congresswoman represents Georgia’s Sixth Congressional District – the location of both our factory and test site.
During Representative McBath’s visit, we updated her on the progress we’ve made toward building reusable hypersonic aircraft for commercial and defense markets. We also discussed our plans for future expansion in Greater Atlanta.
After touring the factory, the Congresswoman addressed the Hermeus team to share her excitement and encouragement.
“I am blown away by the work that is being done at Hermeus,” said McBath. “Our home has become a hub for scientists and innovators who are developing technology that will bring our world closer and make our nation safer. The future is being built right here in Metro Atlanta, with good-paying jobs, investments in our infrastructure, and opportunities for our families to grow and thrive.”

At the test site, the Congresswoman witnessed a test of our recently installed, full-scale Mach 5 engine, named Chimera.
Her reaction speaks for itself.
